Simply run the shock cord through the first hole/opening in your bottom steps and install the pull tab and your all set! The Skeletab Aider Retainers will securely hold your aider in place preventing it from prematurely coming off your step. The pull tab stays in the groove of the step and allows the step to fully fold up as designed.
